November 6th will be a regular life drawing night.

Last Tuesday was our costume night.  This is a beautiful portrait of our model for the night.  Jeannie Robertson did this pastel on velour paper.

We will continue our life drawing this week and and December 4th will be our next costume night.

I do not know who our model is this week.

This is David Beard's drawing.  The model was Edmond.  He will return in late November but

until then, he will join us as he is a fellow artist. 

Last night, Sept. 11th

We had at least 15 participants last night. There were several new faces.

Kelsey modeled and was joined by a male friend.  The poses were beautiful and we were all
inspired and challenged drawing two models for the evening.

Next week, we will have a new male model.  See you then.  Feel free to post your work or let me
know you would be willing to have your work posted on this blog. 

September 4th. Back in session

Last night for a month tonight

Amanda is our model tonight.  She will have 3 poses for us to to choose.  We will paint in 20 minute intervals. You will have 1 and a half hours in front of the model.

We will be off for the month of August.  Phillip has inventory to get ready for school sales. 

June 19, this Tuesday

Amanda is scheduled to be our model this Tuesday.  Travis is scheduled for the last week in June.

Times Eight is Closed for August

I want to let you know that we will not be meeting in August.  We take a break in the summer and then resume again in the fall.

Ira has been mentioning this each week so hopefully you will mark your calendars.

We will have our male model Anders with us this Tuesday.  Our group has been very busy.  Come early and get a great seat.

Times Eight Tonight , April 17th 7 to 9 pm

This was last week's model and we will be surprised by our model this week as Miriam will not be able to return. 

We had 14 participants last Tuesday. Miriam was our fantastic model.

Last week at times eight we had costume night with Richard.  I understand he has fun costumes and will be with us again.

The 10th and 17th Miriam will be with us.  The 24th will be Clair Livingston.

May 1st will be costume night with Richard again.  The next week will hopefully be a combination of Anders and Amanda Vazquez.

In that there are 5 Tuesdays in May you would be getting a good deal if you paid the monthly fee of $20.

We have been having some good groups so if you like a particular spot get there early.

We may do a long pose over two weeks with Miriam if you wish to consider some different media if we do that.

New model tonight

Russ Leonard will model tonight.  He is new to us on this 3rd week in January. Last week we were privileged to have a new model Meghan Ragford.  She will be with us again on the 21st and 28th of February.


We have had a good group starting the new year.

I have not been able to come to x's8 lately so if anyone knows the model tonight please post.  I am looking forward to drawing tonight.
